Enrolment & Admissions Processes
Summit Point School, where creativity, strengths and intervention meet.
We all want the best possible future for our children, yours included. SPS firmly believes that great minds do not think alike. If your child learns differently, they need a school that teaches differently.
Large class sizes with active, social, modern learning spaces and multiple teachers works well for some students but not all. Your child may be missing out on opportunities to learn, thrive, and feel great about themselves.
We are a school for students with language learning difficulties, such as (but not limited to) dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, executive functioning skills issues and ADHD.
We are now taking enrolment applications for students from Year 3 for the 2024 academic year.
Please note, that the maximum age for new enrolees is 12 years at the beginning of the academic year.
Due to our small class sizes, spaces are limited.
Please note: Summit Point School is not equipped to manage children with complex behaviours, such as (but not limited to) global delay, severe ASD, mood disorders or violent behaviours, like Conduct Disorder. The Ministry of Education, Special Education division, and Service agencies can support families to make informed decisions about school placements for their children and assist them with referral and admission procedures.

"Her time at Summit gave our daughter the space and time to learn at her own pace, be recognised for her talents and participate in the running of the school."
"Graduating from Summit, our child is a confident learner and has a range of strategies which have helped her transition to high school."
