Friedlander Foundation scholarships
The Friedlander Scholarships are available annually for children whose families are not able to financially support their child attending Summit Point School. The process is undertaken in term three of the academic year prior to the issuing of the scholarships.
The Friedlander Scholarships are not assessed on academic capability but purely on the needs of the individual child. The places are highly sought after and therefore considerations of the child’s personal disposition, and participation in cultural, community or other areas of personal passion will be considered.
This is a financial scholarship for the duration of one academic year. It can be either part or one full year covering the costs of a student's tuition fee, and may include activity fees and other expenses, such as stationary. The level of parental contribution will be independently assessed and based on the current financial position of the family.
Once we have compiled the applications, a shortlist of candidates will be contacted and asked to attend an interview with their parents.
Before submitting a scholarship application with Summit Point School, we recommend applicants read the scholarship criteria below.
